Um, wait a minute… Is Easter really already like a week away? I can’t believe that it’s already here, but I’m so excited because Easter is actually one of my favorite holidays! We get to celebrate our Savior’s resurrection, and the day is all about Him. 🙂 Plus, to me, Easter is always so refreshing and gets me even more excited for warmer weather, beautiful blooms & a fresh start to the season. Another reason I love it so much? The amazing dresses and outfits that we get to wear (of course)!
Growing up each year, my mom would buy my sister and I a new dress for Easter, and we would wear it to church that Sunday. In our family, we have the tradition of going to my grandparents’ church on Easter every year and then heading over to their house for a huge lunch and, of course, some egg hunting! No matter how old we get, we all participate in the egg hunt. Actually, the hunt has gotten even more exciting as we have gotten older because now, we have one where my Granny puts different amounts of money in the eggs and whatever you find, you get to keep! No, it’s not about the money of course, but it is fun just to play along and see who gets the most eggs at the end. 😉 Our family is SO competitive, so it always ends up being a really fun time!
Let’s raise the roof for Jesus this Easter, y’all!!!
Okay, how could I be on this gorgeous, regal staircase in a beautiful blue skirt and not allow myself to have a Cinderella moment?! I recently went to see the new Beauty and The Beast movie (omg — so amazing!!), and I loved it! But, to tell you the truth, Cinderella has always been my favorite princess and movie! The little girl inside of me is still freaking out over these pictures haha!

I chose to take an alternative approach for showcasing this Easter-inspired look. I am alllll about the cute sundresses and of course, my go-to BCBG dresses for Easter, weddings and all of the other springtime events, however, this year I am changing it up to inspire you all to step outside of the box with your Easter attire!
I’ve partnered up with Space 46 Boutique and Skylar Belle to show how to style a tulle or maxi length skirt for the Easter season. My Carrie Bradshaw-lovin’ heart has absolutely fallen in love with all of the tulle beauty from Space 46 — you can see a few other tulle skirt posts from the past here, here & here.
The pastel color of this maxi skirt is so perfect for this time of year, and it is the perfect length to wear with a 3-ish inch heel! I paired the skirt with this detailed, lace crop top from the sister store of Space 46 – Skylar Belle. I love this top because it is so feminine and creates such a soft, sweet vibe paired with the lush tulle, and it’s not too cropped. Since the Space 46 skirts are high-waisted, you won’t have to worry about your stomach showing in church … unless of course, you start twirling and raising the roof for Jesus like I was in a few pics here, haha!
I loved the scalloped edging on this Kate Spade handbag, but mine is actually sold out because it’s a few years old now. However, I found one that is super similar, and it would pair so well with any Easter look! I also linked a few others above in the widget that would work as well!
What are some of your family Easter traditions? I would love to hear, so comment below!
Thank you so much for stopping by, beautiful — I hope you have a great Thursday!
