Today I’m sharing my go-to, fall ‘uniform’ that you can mix and match so many different ways to keep the whole look fresh but also really easy and manageable. This is one of my favorite ‘throw on & go’ fall looks because it is perfect for those times when you are in a hurry and don’t have time to put together the most unique outfit (+ you’re going on day 3 [or 4, 5, 6… we’ve all been there] without clean hair) but you still want to look stylish.
DETAILS: Free People blouse | BP blanket scarf (also love this one on sale!) | similar Buffalo jeans | similar Tory Burch boots | Ray-Bans | similar hat | earrings (dupes) | Pandora ring | David Yurman bangle | gold link bracelet | Michael Kors watch | similar choker
The best thing about fall fashion is that it brings back all the layering and mixing & matching that makes your outfit go from good to GREAT and it’s so simple.
I just recently got this Free People, bell sleeve top and I am in LOOOVE. Y’all have to get one. I got a neutral color just for the reason that I wanted to be able to mix and match different vests/scarves/etc with it throughout the entire season. I love that it is trendy in that it has the (massive) bell sleeves but it’s still has that classic, blouse-y feel.
Tops like this one are so good to achieve that ‘I want to look cute but I’m in a hurry’ look. Add a blanket scarf or a cute vest for fall or even just a necklace for the warmer days. Throw it on with your favorite denim & some riding boots (or even booties) and you are dressed & looking fab in less than 5 minutes.
If you are like me, to cut down on even more time (or if I feel like I just need an added accessory) I’ll add a hat of some sort. Y’all know that my favorite kinds are the floppy or wide-brim hats! I especially love throwing one on whenever my hair is looking a little on the rough side or if it’s hair-washing day and I just simply don’t have the time before leaving the house. (Ps – this curly ‘wad’ I have going on is one of my favorite hairstyles [if you can even call it that] to wear with hats. Literally the quickest & easiest hairstyle … try wearing your hair in a low, loose messy bun the next time you wear a hat, especially if you have a massive scarf in the way!)
I call this look my fall uniform because it is literally so easy to recreate this outfit in many different ways. Change it up with a different scarf, wear booties instead of tall boots (or even switch up the color of your riding boots), wear the scarf as a wrap, ditch the scarf and add a long vest (or you could do both on a cooler day), add your leather jacket or trench coat & put it over your shoulders with a longer necklace. There are SO many ways to mix up looks like this one for those days that you don’t have time to put a lot of effort into your outfit but of course, you still want to look fashionable.
Just because you missed your first 5 alarms (me – ask TJ) doesn’t mean that you have to give up on looking cute that day. 🙂 I hope this helps solve this problem for you because, let’s face it: We’ve all been there!
Now you have a few more cute fall outfit ideas to get you through until it’s time for some holiday wear – YAY!
Thanks for stopping by, beauties!!
