Cinco de Mayo is quickly approaching, you guys! Anyone else love this fun holiday?? We typically celebrate at our favorite, local Mexican restaurant with friends, but this year, we’ll be away at a little staycation in Pigeon Forge, TN with Margaritaville Hotel, just the two of us. 🙂 We’re really excited about our little getaway — Stay tuned this weekend and I’ll bring y’all along with us on our trip!

I could literally live on Mexican food, so I always look forward to it on May 5th .. plus, there’s nothing for fun than a little fiesta fashion! I was shopping online last week and found this adorable, white, embroidered dress. It was way too cute to pass up, and I loved that the dress was completely lined! I hate having to wear a slip, so I always try to buy pieces that are lined or not see through. I then kept scrolling to find so many more options just like it, so I decided I would include all of the cute outfits I found here on the blog in case you all are searching for a cute, Cinco de Mayo look too. The colorful tassels and embroidery on these pieces are not only perfect for any fiesta style event (Cinco de Mayo, themed bachelorette parties, wedding showers, etc.), but also for any summer cookouts, concerts or tropical vacays you have coming up!
Also, I wanted to give some special attention to the wedges I’m wearing … they are SO extremely comfortable and even though they technically have a heel, they totally feel like flats because the platform is hardly sloped at all. I love them because I like to wear a little bit of a heel to add height with certain outfits, but it’s a total win win since they feel like flats. Y’all know I had to get the orange pair because they’re so comfortable that I definitely plan to wear them to UT football games this season. It’s the perfect shade of orange for all my Vol fans out there! However, if you’re not a TN Vol, no worries! There are TONS of other colors to support your school as well, or you could just get a neutral that you can wear with all of your outfits for any occasion.
