Friday Favorites: Fall Home Decor

For this week’s Friday Faves, I’m sharing some of my faaavorite fall-ish home decor. To me, fall is a season full of cozy throw blankets, good smelling candles, and lots of cider in my favorite personalized mug!

Here are a few things in my home that I have been loving lately:

I can guarantee that if you ever visit my house – 9 times out of 10 – I will have about five different candles burning. I just LOVE them … especially once the cooler weather starts setting in. I think they just create such a relaxing (& romantic) ambiance and I am obsessed with making my house smell good. Not to mention, I think that the best way to recall old memz is with a special aroma. Certain smells can literally take me back 10-15 years and help me remember special times in my life.

Being somewhat of a candle snob, I am always on the search for some new scents to try. I love trying new candles to see how they burn, smell, etc. – and recently, I found out about the Family Tree Candle Company.

As a newlywed who didn’t have much fall decor at all, I went to Hobby Lobby to catch some of their fall sales & found this industrial pumpkin (on sale!) to match our living room/mantle decor & these mini pumpkins (also on sale – suuuper cheap) to match our gold/silver themed dining room.

I am a Christmas fanatic, so I definitely plan on going all out on the winter/Christmas decor, so stay tuned for all of that fun! I can’t wait to get a cedar candle from Family Tree Candles for winter. It’s my FAVE scent because it reminds me of my sweet grandparent’s house during the holidays!
