Get excited you guys! The time has finally come where you get to sit & listen to my southern accent and see me make a fool out of myself attempt my very first video tutorial. 🙂
Believe it or not, the most requested post that you all have been asking me to do is a makeup tutorial, which is funny because I really don’t feel like I’m a pro at makeup or anything like that! However, I finally sat down and filmed one of my go-to glam makeup routines, and I just have to say that it was rather eye opening … I really never knew how much work YouTubers had to put into their tutorials and vlogs!! Major props and respect to you all if you’re a vlogger reading this! I know I’m obviously very new to the YouTube game, but shew it’s not easy y’all.
With all that being said, keep in mind that I’m not a professional makeup artist and I’m not a YouTuber. Therefore, I’m sure I have a lot of things I can work on in my next video! But nonetheless, you’ll be able to follow along in the video below to see how I get my full coverage, glam look. I’ve tried to include lots of personal makeup tips and tricks that I have learned along the way and used for years, so hopefully some of them will be helpful to you as well!
All of the products that I used in this tutorial are listed below the video in this blog post.
*Be sure to watch ’til the end because y’all know that it took me a good 20 tries to get everything right, so there are plenty of bloopers to give you a nice laugh, LOL!

Two other details:
I spray this setting spray on my face every day after my makeup is completely finished – it literally keeps your makeup on so well. I fell in love with it when I used it during those scorching hot UT game days because it held my makeup in place all day & helped me to not look as much of a sweaty mess. I just forgot to add it into the video … oops!
Also, all of the Sephora brushes that I used in this tutorial are included in this pack. I got this pack of brushes about 2 years ago and they are still in great condition! I just wanted to share that because it’s a way better deal than just buying one single brush since you get 8 brushes + the carrying case!
I hope you all enjoyed the video! Let me know in the comments below if there are any other videos/tutorials you’d like to see in the future, and be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel AND my blog so that you don’t miss when the next video goes live!
If you are in to watching beauty tutorials, you should check out the fun boss babes below! I’ve always loved watching their videos, so I thought I would pass them along to y’all. 🙂
