Hey ladies! Today, I’m sharing Part 2 of my Sisters Vintage Rentals Christmas shoot. If you missed out on Part 1, then be sure to click HERE to check it out — it was definitely one of my very favorite posts to date! SVR is by far the most amazing company for antique rentals. They help turn ANY event into gold. Everything they put together just looks simply amazing – just pay attention to the vignettes below to see what I’m raving about!
Also … if you had the chance to dress up as THE Mrs. Clause for a special Christmas event, would you?? Um, I would no doubt! Nothing says ‘festive’ like dressing up as Mrs. Clause herself .. and I mean, like, in a classy, tasteful way. Not looking like ya just came in on a sleigh from the North Pole! LOL.
Y’all know that I’m all about the holidays – specifically Christmastime – and this is probably the most Christmas-ish (ehh, I think I just made that word up..) look that I have in my closet. And, you’ll never believe where I found this festive coat … 😉 eeeeek!
black dress (dupe!) | coat (read below for deets — similar styles HERE & HERE) | textured tights (also styled in THIS HOLIDAY LOOK) | lace-up pumps (only the most comfy heels I have ever worn & they’re TTS) | rhinestone necklace | rhinestone bracelet | earrings | David Yurman cuff bracelet | Tory Burch cuff bracelet | lips | nails
So, a little backstory … I am all about volunteering and helping really great causes, so back in the day, I got involved in being a runway model for Goodwill Fashion Shows that were put on annually. Honestly, these were such a blast. Helping a great cause and a day being surrounded by fashion? You could count me in. I didn’t care what kind of fashion it was. Shoot, I like it all, ha! Most years, they would put on the theme of ‘Dancing Through the Decades’ so we would model the fashions and styles of each decade as we would strut down the catwalk. It was seriously so much fun! At the end of the events, there would be a HUGE sale happening with tons and tons of the best pieces that had ever been brought into our local Goodwill stores. You were crazy if you didn’t shop the sale because you could literally find the most amazing pieces – even some designer looks – at suuuuper cheap prices. I scored this red, fur collared coat at the sale. It is such a rare piece that I haven’t been able to find anywhere. I have searched and searched for a similar style to share with y’all and the closest that I got to a few decent quality dupes are the two links listed above in my outfit details. I looove this coat and wouldn’t trade it for the world because it’s truly a vintage piece and something so ordinary. My heart beats real fast when I find certain pieces like this, and I think yours might do the same. So, don’t ever doubt your local Goodwills, thrift stores and really just any local shop in general because you never know when you may find a one of a kind. Don’t forget to #shoplocal, y’all!
Speaking of shopping local, how about these GORG setups from Sisters Vintage Rentals?! I mean … (***insert 100 of the heart eyes emojis here***).
Sisters Vintage is a local company in East Tennessee, and they are simply incredible at what they do. From weddings, to the smallest gatherings & the largest events, they have antique rentals to cover all of your needs — and they make everything look absolutely stunning while they’re at it! I mean, how beautiful are the vignettes they set up for this shoot?! (I also showed off a few other setups in THIS POST).
The 4 sisters of SVR are so generous and kind-hearted. They truly just want your event to be all that you could have ever dreamed it would be – in the decor department, that is. I have years of personal experience with this company, and I would highly recommend it time and time again to anyone needing any sort of vintage decor for his or her upcoming event! The pieces shown above are only a few things from their huge inventory. SVR has tons of inventory to fit everyones desires, so to see more of their pieces and to gain some further inspo for your next event, check them out on Instagram and / or Facebook. There are tons of photos to keep you inspired!
